Every so often, Victoria Secret has shopping parties held at select stores. The parties consist of prizes, food, raffles, and sales. The next fashion party will be held this Sunday, February 10th, but unfortunately i have to work that. I had the decision of giving my shift up to someone else so i can go to the party, but if i give up my shift, i lose all the hours that i would get out of that day. If it were a regular couple hour shift, i would be totally fine with giving it up, but it is an abnormally lengthy shift which will be a big contributor to my paycheck.
My opportunity cost of me going to the shopping party instead of taking my shift at work would be the drastic decline in my paycheck, but if i don't go to the party i miss out on the free giveaways and amazing sales that they will be having for that night only.. I'm such a girl, i know, its sad.
